As you look close at this beautiful watercolor your focus begins at the rugged rocks, moves to the active rough surf, and then out to the deep fog of the open ocean. Alicia J. Stonebreaker painted all of her wonderful seascapes "on site" with her easel and watercolors planted on a semi level spot. This was one of those foggy, raw, and bitter days that the hearty Maine people are very accustomed to.
